Privacy & Cookies Notice

This notice explains what we do with personal data you give us through this website. Last updated August 2026.

Who is the data controller

L Derbyshire Holdings Ltd (company number 15566564), registered office 5 Canon Court, Institute Street, Bolton, England, BL1 1PZ, is the controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact us at help@lderbyshireholdings.ltd.

What we collect

When you request a free Digital & Operations Review we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in and the details of your enquiry.

Our server also records standard technical information such as your IP address and timestamp with the enquiry, for security and abuse prevention.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and deliver services you engage us for. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests for responding to business enquiries, and contract performance once you become a client.

We do not sell your data and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are emailed to our own mailbox on our UK hosting. We may share data with service providers who help us operate — for example email, hosting and accounting providers — under appropriate contracts, and with authorities where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus six years to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not embed third-party analytics profiling. Only cookies strictly necessary for the site to function may be set, which do not require consent.

If we add analytics in future, we will update this notice and ask for consent where required.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability. Email help@lderbyshireholdings.ltd and we will respond within one month.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry submissions are validated server-side, protected against automated spam and sent directly to our mailbox — they are not stored in a public database on this website.
